Ngati Porou Hauora is seeking to employ a dedicated and passionate Mental Health Team Leader to contribute to the Ngati Porou Hauora vision of "The next generation living longer than the last".
Based at Te Puia/East Coast, the ideal persion will manage and deliver mental health services in an integrated way within the community setting. The Team Leader will work with the mental health and addictions team with 0.5 FTE as team leader and 0.5 FTE as a clinician. Experience and knowledge in a range of therapy models and knowledge of DSM-5 classification system is necessary to be successful in this role. Experience in managing a team is essential.
If you have the ability to form strong relationships and liaise with other agencies and professionals and work in and lead a multi disciplinary team, while providing a level of clinical supervision, then we want to talk to you.
Excellent people and communication skills with the ability to relate to people of differing ages and cultural backgrounds is essential.

You will have a health related tertiary qualification and be registered with a current APC.
Remuneration will be negotiated based on qualifications and experience.
